“Start Here”

1.0 Initiation

Information gathering to form an initial proposal. Involves immersion into the community to understand the unique needs of the area.

  • Weekly at p:ear mentor, Starlight Opening Zephyr Gallery Popup, Neighborhood Beautification (Murals & Chalk Art), OTC Resident Events, Erickson Gallery Relaunch & Curation, OTCA Meetings.

  • Review reports and research from local economic groups, neighborhood associations, government agencies, and professional associations.

  • Talking to locals while live painting, creating sidewalk chalk murals, hosting OTC resident events, live painting in the neighborhood, hosting art and yard sales, and door knocking.

2.0 Preliminary Project Plan

  • We’re working with a lot of stakeholders, which means we want solutions that work for everyone. We send our proposals to stakeholders and clients for review, we make modifications, then finalize the agreement.

3.0 Kick off

5.0 Strategy

  • Customer segments, concept sketching, define functionality, how will it be used, interaction goals, usability goals, user success metrics, what will be the unique lovable piece, and user empathy maps.

  • Survey potential design risks, potential development challenges, use case challenges, performance goals.

6.0 Envision & Validate

  • Digital and new technology are expensive to develop, we validate proof of concept at the smallest proof of concept prototype point.

  • A re-editing of the project roadmaps that provide a strategic overview of the major elements of a project. It includes objectives, milestones, deliverables, resources, and a planned timeline.

  • One idea leads to the next. We know our stakeholders and visitors will be flooded with creative ideas. We’ll capture these ideas in our visitor and stakeholder survey system.

  • Circumstances change and businesses might need to terminate contracts early. We make it easy to notify us relative to our termination and breach clauses. We’re aiming to be flexible and realistic.

  • We are committed to being as accurate as possible with our timelines. We know reliability in service is important. If there is an issue on either end we aim for consistent and concise communication.
